Kyofudo Mayu Shop is a traditional Kyoto townhouse located just down Ogawa Street from Oike. It is a space where diverse people gather, relax, and engage in cultural exchange, with offerings such as Kyoto crafts, local foods, a showroom for Murayama Woodcraft’s Kumiko works, "Shishoan," and an art gallery. We hope you’ll stop by and visit us in person.

Profile
Born on December 12, 1962.
Graduated from the Faculty of Economics at Osaka University of Economics in 1986.
After working for a private company (Recruit Co., Ltd.) in 1989, I joined the Kyoto Industrial Information Center (now the Kyoto Industrial Support 21) where I was mainly responsible for promoting inter-company cooperation, cross-industry exchanges, matching manufacturing companies, and developing overseas sales channels. Since 2012, I have participated in the China Sales Channel Development Project, establishing networks primarily in Shanghai as well as in Beijing, Ningbo, Guangzhou, and other locations. Currently, I collaborate with business partners in the United States, China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Thailand, Italy, and other countries.
Operating Organizations / Companies
Our partner organization, the Kyoto Cross-Industry Exchange Association Kyoohoo, consists of 12 companies handling traditional Kyoto crafts. They collaborate to jointly exhibit at domestic and international trade shows, develop sales channels, and create collaborative products. In addition, we will engage in various collaborations through partnerships with the companies we do business with at Kyofudo.
